Used in aromatherapy for the symptomatic relief of eczema and dermatitis. Eczema is a term used interchangeably with dermatitis. Atopic dermatitis is caused by allergies, temperature change, stress and infection. Contact dermatitis or allergic dermatitis is caused by skin contact with an irritating substance. May cause allergic reaction (e.g. skin rashes, irritation); in which case, discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner.
